Mid-summer, the year of the Buddha 2539 (1995)
His response body appeared in China,
And he settled in America
Until his seventy-seventh year
According with the conditions, he introduced the teaching.
He proclaimed and propagated the Proper Dharma,
Transforming and rescuing multitudes of beings.
He dwelt at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas
And was reborn in the Land of Bliss.
