On the Nirvana of the Elder Master To Lun,
Venerable Hsuan Noble Hua,
the ninth patriarch of the Weiyang Sect,
the founder of the City of
Ten Thousand Buddhas, and the transmitter of the Vairochana Sect
In the final age, we look up to your exemplary style.
We have bitterly lost our guiding teacher,
And we mourn that the eye of humans and gods has perished.
With great compassion you save
the limitless living beings.
Please come back riding on your vows.
