Elder Master Hsuan Hua, To Lun
For seventy-eight years, his virtues were high and lofty.
All people put their hopes in him.
He proclaimed the teachings and propagated the Chan school.
His merit and virtue accomplished,
He went to Nirvana.
In an instant, he was relieved of his work in the mundane world.
His spirit roams in Buddha lands.
His compassionate resolve is vast and great.
Out of vast kindness, may he turn the boat around and come back riding on his vows.
