修道如登百尺竿，下来容易上去难。
若能竿头更进步， 十方法界任往还

Verse of the Hundred-foot Pole

Cultivating the Way is like climbing a hundred-foot pole:
Sliding down is easy, going up is hard.
If at the top of the pole you take just one more step,
You'll be free to come and go in the ten directions of the Dharma Realm.
